The College of Charleston’s IHSA equestrian team is currently leading its region in points after starting the spring season at Georgia Southern. During the competition, the team secured reserve champion honors on the second day.
On Saturday, senior Maggie Armes advanced to Novice 2B, and sophomore Emma Heatherton moved out of Limit Flat. The team’s momentum continued into Sunday when freshman Lily Wilson qualified for regionals in Open Flat. Sophomore Clara Bowman is close to qualifying in Intermediate Flat, needing just two more points, while sophomore Meredith Miramonti requires one point to qualify in the same category. Camryn Bell is also one point away from advancing to Novice 2B.
