Justin Britt, a former Goose Creek High School star and current player for the St. Mary’s Rattlers, will participate in the NCAA Division II Basketball Tournament.
The team is seeded No. 7 and will face off against the No. 2 seed, Eastern New Mexico Greyhounds, in their opening game.
Tipoff for the first game is set for Saturday, March 14, at 1:30 p.m. in the Kenneth E. Burg Center.
Three riders from College of Charleston have been named Ariat NCEA All-Americans this season. The team returns to national championship competition as a top seed later this month.
Six members of the College of Charleston equestrian team have been recognized with NCEA All-Academic honors. The announcement comes as the Cougars prepare for a national championship semifinal match against Dartmouth.
Friday, April 17 will feature competition from these former Berkeley County area high school standouts.
