Rep. Nancy Mace, a member of the U.S. Congress representing South Carolina’s 1st district since 2021, posted a series of tweets on September 16, 2025, addressing topics ranging from political figures to recent employment actions at Clemson University.

In her first tweet of the day, Mace wrote: “We’ll help you out: start with George Soros.” (September 16, 2025). This was followed by another post less than half an hour later containing only a link: “https://t.co/xo0LYz7ECV” (September 16, 2025).

Later that afternoon, Mace commented on employment terminations at Clemson University related to reactions over Charlie Kirk’s murder. She stated: “Two more down. Clemson has now fired 3 employees who celebrated Charlie Kirk’s murder. Turns out ‘tenure’ doesn’t cover cheering for assassinations.” (September 16, 2025).

Nancy Mace began serving in Congress after replacing Joe Cunningham in South Carolina’s 1st District and previously served in the South Carolina House of Representatives from 2018 to 2020. Born in Fort Bragg, North Carolina in 1977 and currently residing in Charleston, she graduated from The Citadel with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1999.
