Rep. Nancy Mace, a U.S. Congresswoman representing South Carolina’s 1st district, posted a series of tweets on March 20, 2026, addressing topics ranging from the ongoing Jeffrey Epstein investigation to voter identification and military heritage.
In a tweet published at 12:07 UTC, Mace commented on recent developments in the Epstein case: “Attorney General Pam Bondi’s Oversight briefing does not end the Epstein investigation. It doesn’t even slow it down. The American people deserve a full accounting of Jeffrey Epstein’s criminal network, the rich and powerful who used it, and the institutions that protected”.
Later that day at 13:17 UTC, she posed a question to her followers about election security: “Do you want voter ID?”
At 15:01 UTC, Mace recognized the long-standing legacy of Marine Corps Recruit Depot Parris Island and referenced legislative efforts aimed at its preservation: “Since 1915, Parris Island has been making Marines. One hundred and ten years of sweat, sacrifice, and service to this nation. Countless warriors have been forged right here in the Lowcountry. We introduced the Parris Island Protection Act to ensure that no federal dollars are”.
Mace has represented South Carolina’s 1st district in Congress since 2021 after succeeding Joe Cunningham. She previously served in the South Carolina House of Representatives from 2018 to 2020. Born in Fort Bragg, North Carolina in 1977 and currently residing in Charleston, Mace graduated from The Citadel with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1999.
