U.S. Representative Nancy Mace, who serves South Carolina’s 1st district, addressed personal health matters and issues of justice in a series of posts on her social media account on February 3, 2026.

In her first post, Mace commented on public speculation about her private life and health: “The FAKE NEWS loves to make assumptions and just plainly make things up about me, my personal life or my health. I have a lifelong condition called HEMOCHROMATOSIS. It’s a genetic condition where my body absorbs too much iron. Any alcohol consumption accelerates my body’s iron” (posted at 17:25 UTC).

Later that day, she turned to the topic of legal accountability for wealthy individuals involved in high-profile criminal cases. At 19:00 UTC, she posted: “Real justice doesn’t care about someone’s net worth. The higher you climb, the harder you fall. We’ll be there to make sure Epstein co-conspirators hit every step on the way down.”

Continuing this theme at 20:30 UTC, Mace wrote: “Justice will come when predators are finally held accountable by the law they thought didn’t apply to them.”

Nancy Mace has represented South Carolina’s 1st congressional district since replacing Joe Cunningham in 2021 and previously served in the South Carolina House of Representatives from 2018 to 2020. Born in Fort Bragg, North Carolina in 1977, Mace resides in Charleston and graduated from The Citadel with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1999.
