U.S. Representative Nancy Mace, who serves South Carolina’s 1st district in Congress, posted a series of statements on October 10, 2025, addressing issues of justice and community engagement in her state.

In an early morning post at 11:15 a.m., Mace wrote, “Justice isn’t a bargaining chip. Protect the innocent. Prosecute the guilty.”

Later that morning at 11:30 a.m., she referenced her participation in Senator Tim Scott’s annual event, stating, “We spoke at @SenScott’s 15th Annual South Carolina Prayer Breakfast, where South Carolinians gathered to lift our state and nation in prayer. In a world of uncertainty, one truth remains: through every trial and burden, God’s goodness stands firm.”

In the evening at 6:01 p.m., Mace highlighted concerns about legal proceedings involving child predator cases in South Carolina. She stated, “ICYMI: We FOIA’d South Carolina’s Attorney General. 92% of child predator cases in one county were dropped. How many more across the state? Read the receipts “

Mace has represented South Carolina’s 1st congressional district since replacing Joe Cunningham in 2021 and previously served in the South Carolina House of Representatives from 2018 to 2020. Born in Fort Bragg, North Carolina in 1977 and currently residing in Charleston, she is also a graduate of The Citadel with a Bachelor of Science degree earned in 1999.
