Rep. Nancy Mace, U.S. Congresswoman representing South Carolina’s 1st district since 2021, shared a series of posts on March 31, 2026, addressing her legislative priorities and recent public appearances.
In one post from that day, Mace criticized media coverage of personal scandals involving other political figures: “The media wants to talk about Bryon and Kristi Noem’s personal drama and indiscretions. I want to talk about who is getting deported, who got paid, and who’s stealing from taxpayers. Different priorities. Let’s focus on what matters.” (March 31, 2026).
Later the same day, she highlighted her participation in a community event honoring veterans: “We attended Carolina Forest High School’s Military Appreciation Night baseball game. We will always show up to recognize our veterans for their sacrifices for our great country and for protecting the freedom of every single one of us. May God bless America, and may He continue” (March 31, 2026).
Mace also commented on shifting stances regarding military engagement by another senator: “A week ago Lindsey Graham was ready to sacrifice the lives of 7,000 marines invading Kharg Island. This week he wants to end the war. I’m always ahead of the curve. Some people just take longer to catch up.” (March 31, 2026).
Mace has represented South Carolina’s 1st district in Congress since succeeding Joe Cunningham in 2021. She previously served in the South Carolina House of Representatives from 2018 to 2020 and holds a Bachelor of Science degree from The Citadel, graduating in 1999. Born in Fort Bragg, North Carolina in 1977, Mace currently resides in Charleston.
