Nancy Mace, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing South Carolina’s 1st district, recently took to social media to share her thoughts on national safety, law enforcement, and a personal condolence message. Mace has been an active voice since replacing Joe Cunningham in 2021 and continues to engage with her constituents through various platforms.
On July 5, 2025, Mace expressed gratitude towards President Trump for his efforts in supporting those who ensure national safety. She stated: “It’s about time the people putting their lives on the line to keep our country safe get the resources, and recognition they need. Thank you President Trump.” The message underscored her support for initiatives prioritizing America’s security needs.
Later that day, Mace addressed the issue of sanctuary policies in law enforcement with a firm stance against them. She declared: “We are bringing LAW AND ORDER back. There will be zero sanctuary sheriffs and zero sanctuary cities on our watch. Crimes will be prosecuted.” This statement reflects her commitment to stringent law enforcement practices.
Additionally, Mace conveyed her condolences to the Haley family following a personal loss. She wrote: “Our state mourns with the Haley family… South Carolina stands with the Haleys during this time of sorrow.” This message highlighted her empathetic connection with community members facing difficult times.
Mace’s background includes service in both federal and state legislative bodies, having previously served in the South Carolina House of Representatives from 2018 to 2020. Born in Fort Bragg, North Carolina, she resides in Charleston and is a graduate of The Citadel.
