U.S. Representative Nancy Mace, who serves South Carolina’s 1st district, recently addressed several legislative and social issues in a series of posts on her official Twitter account.

On February 2, 2026, Mace stated: “Cities who defund the police, block officers from restoring order, refuse federal law enforcement assistance, and tolerate violence should not receive a SINGLE dollar of federal taxpayer funding. We introduced the Lawless Cities Accountability Act to stand unequivocally with the https://t.co/3xuYx0mKz1”.

Later that evening on February 3, 2026, she posted: “There is something deeply twisted about adults who insist children be exposed to explicit s*xual content. Adults trying to disguise child abuse as ‘inclusivity.’ @chascolibrary”.

In another post dated February 3, 2026, Mace provided an update on her legislative activities: “WEEKLY LEGISLATIVE UPDATE FROM WASHINGTON WATER RESOURCES DEVELOPMENT ACT (WRDA) Our office has conducted extensive discussions with localities across the 1st District and are working on WRDA requests to deliver significant benefits to the Lowcountry. Nancy Mace has represented South Carolina’s 1st District in Congress since 2021 after succeeding Joe Cunningham. She previously served in the South Carolina House of Representatives from 2018 to 2020 and holds a degree from The Citadel earned in 1999. Born in Fort Bragg, North Carolina in 1977, she currently resides in Charleston.
