U.S. Representative Nancy Mace, who represents South Carolina’s 1st district in Congress, posted a series of statements on October 7, 2025, addressing topics ranging from political controversy to local infrastructure and education.

In her first post at 19:33 UTC, Mace criticized a Democratic candidate for Attorney General, writing: “Every American should be outraged by this. A Democrat candidate for Attorney General fantasized about shooting his opponent in the head and the Left still stands behind him.

Jay Jones should be disqualified from office and investigated immediately.

LAW AND ORDER. NO EXCEPTIONS.” She called for immediate investigation and disqualification of Jay Jones from office.

Later that evening at 22:30 UTC, Mace highlighted recent federal support for Dorchester County’s infrastructure development: “ICYMI: Our latest op-ed highlights a major win for Dorchester County, supporting a $24.6 million federal grant to expand US-78.
