Rep. Nancy Mace, a U.S. Congresswoman representing South Carolina’s 1st district, shared several statements on her social media account on December 10, 2025, addressing topics ranging from political violence to tax policy and proposed legislation.

In a post published at 17:34 UTC, Mace commented on the current political climate: “Just nasty people. And we wonder why there is political violence against the right.”

Shortly after, at 17:45 UTC, she addressed economic issues under former President Donald Trump’s administration: “Under President Trump, we have delivered historic tax cuts. When families keep more of what they earn, spending increases, businesses grow, and economic stability follows. Don’t be a panican. Trust President Trump.”

Later that evening at 20:33 UTC, Mace announced legislative plans in response to the assassination of Charlie Kirk three months prior: “Three months to the day of Charlie Kirk’s assassination, we are introducing legislation to rename the old Black Lives Matter Plaza as ‘Charlie Kirk Freedom of Speech Plaza.'”

Mace has served in Congress since 2021 after previously serving in the South Carolina House of Representatives from 2018 to 2020. She was born in Fort Bragg in 1977 and currently resides in Charleston. Her academic background includes graduating from The Citadel with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1999.
