U.S. Representative Nancy Mace, who serves South Carolina’s 1st district in Congress, addressed a range of issues in a series of tweets posted on December 9, 2025.

In her first post at 3:45 a.m., Mace highlighted the value of skilled trades for residents of South Carolina. She wrote, “Skilled trades = high pay, great benefits, stable job opportunities. We met with the Authorized Equipment Dealers to see how they’re building careers in South Carolina’s, no college degree needed. SOUTH CAROLINA FIRST.”

Later that morning at 4:33 a.m., Mace commented on legislative priorities in Washington for the week. She stated, “In Washington this week, another week where we are not considering any of the remaining 9 full-year appropriations bills. The big ticket item on the agenda for the week is the final version of the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) for Fiscal Year 2026.”

By mid-afternoon at 3:15 p.m., Mace turned to foreign policy and national security concerns regarding Hamas and its support in Palestinian-administered territories. She tweeted, “The data speaks for itself: overwhelming majorities in Palestinian-administered territories support Hamas and reject accountability for its terrorism. Our No Amnesty for Hamas Sympathizers Act makes it clear: individuals who lived in these territories or who travel on”.

Nancy Mace has represented South Carolina’s 1st District since replacing Joe Cunningham in Congress in 2021. Before her current role, she served in the South Carolina House of Representatives from 2018 to 2020 and graduated from The Citadel with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1999. Born in Fort Bragg, North Carolina in 1977, Mace currently resides in Charleston.
