U.S. Congresswoman Nancy Mace, who represents South Carolina’s 1st district, posted a series of statements on December 15, 2025, highlighting her support for law enforcement and responding to recent tragic events.

In a post at 16:30 UTC, Mace wrote: “Congresswoman Nancy Mace BACKS THE BLUE. 13 year old DJ Daniels, who has been initiated into over 1,300 law enforcement agencies nationwide, visited our Charleston office recently to discuss supporting law enforcement and public safety.”

Later that day at 18:12 UTC, she expressed condolences regarding the deaths of Rob and Michele Reiner: “My sincerest condolences to the Reiner family, their children, and all who loved them. While I disagreed with Rob politically, vehemently at times, no one deserves the ending he and Michele received. No one. Tragic. Disgusting. Obscene. And devastating beyond words for their”

At 19:00 UTC on the same day, Mace thanked members of the judiciary and law enforcement for addressing threats related to the case: “Thank you to the judge, law enforcement officers, investigators, and prosecutors who took these threats seriously and acted decisively. Because of your swift action, professionalism, and commitment to upholding the law, a dangerous individual remains behind bars, where he”

Mace has represented South Carolina’s 1st congressional district since 2021 after succeeding Joe Cunningham. Prior to her tenure in Congress, she served in the South Carolina House of Representatives from 2018 to 2020.
