Representative Nancy Mace, who has been serving South Carolina’s 1st district in the U.S. Congress since 2021, recently made several public statements via social media concerning geopolitical tensions involving Iran. Her comments reflect her stance on international security and express solidarity with Israel amid ongoing conflicts.
On June 17, 2025, Mace urged Iranian citizens to heed a warning from former President Trump. She stated: “I hope the Iranian people will listen to President Trump’s warning. EVACUATE TEHRAN.”
In another post later that day, Mace expressed her agreement with Trump regarding nuclear armament concerns. She tweeted: “President Trump is RIGHT. Terrorists should never have nukes!”
Mace also called for prayers for Jewish communities globally, especially those in Israel, amidst the hostilities with Iran. Her message was one of support and hope for their success against adversarial forces: “Please pray for our Jewish brothers and sisters tonight, in Israel especially, but also around the world…Pray for their safe keeping and pray for their imminent success demolishing what is left of the terrorist regime in Iran.”
Nancy Mace was born in Fort Bragg, North Carolina in 1977 and resides in Charleston. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree from The Citadel, earned in 1999.
