Rep. Nancy Mace, who represents South Carolina’s 1st district in the U.S. Congress, posted a series of updates on April 8, 2026, addressing government transparency, environmental efforts, and foreign policy.
In one post on April 8, Mace questioned the status of undisclosed files and missing footage related to an ongoing investigation. She wrote: “How many files have not been disclosed? What happened to all of the footage from the pinhole cameras? Why doesn’t the DOJ have all of the unredacted documents? We still have many questions we believe Pam Bondi needs to answer.”
Later that day, Mace highlighted her office’s participation in a local environmental initiative. She stated: “Our office joined SCDNR and Wounded Nature – Working Veterans on Johns Island as they removed over a dozen abandoned boats from our waterways. Abandoned vessels like these pose serious environmental, economic, and public safety threats to the Lowcountry. Keeping our waterways” The post referenced collaboration with the South Carolina Department of Natural Resources (SCDNR) and a veterans’ group focused on conservation.
In another post from April 8, Mace commented on national security and military engagement. She wrote: “Peace through STRENGTH. President Trump has shown the world yet again what this looks like. Its time to end the conflict for good and bring our troops home. God bless the United States of America.”
Mace has represented South Carolina’s 1st district since 2021 after previously serving in the state legislature from 2018 to 2020. Born in Fort Bragg, North Carolina in 1977, she resides in Charleston and graduated from The Citadel in 1999 with a Bachelor of Science degree.
