Rep. Nancy Mace, a U.S. Congresswoman representing South Carolina’s 1st district, posted a series of statements on January 23, 2026, addressing military education and personnel policies.

In her first post at 18:45 UTC, Mace announced new legislation: “We introduced the No Woke Indoctrination of Military Kids Act to make sure our soldiers’ kids attending schools run by the Department of War are not indoctrinated with woke nonsense. America FIRST.”

Later that day at 19:27 UTC, she commented on recent congressional proceedings: “If you weren’t convinced this was a witch-hunt before, yesterday’s hearing sealed it.”

Mace has represented South Carolina’s 1st District in Congress since 2021 after succeeding Joe Cunningham and previously served in the South Carolina House of Representatives from 2018 to 2020. She was born in Fort Bragg, North Carolina in 1977 and currently resides in Charleston. Mace is also an alumna of The Citadel, graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1999.
