U.S. Representative Nancy Mace, who serves South Carolina’s 1st district, made several statements on her social media account on February 5, 2026. The posts addressed local infrastructure funding and transparency in government.

In a post at 20:15 UTC, Mace announced federal support for clean energy projects in her district: “MACE WIN: We helped support a $6.6 million Round 2 Clean Fuels Infrastructure Grant for the Berkeley-Charleston-Dorchester Council of Governments (BCDCOG) to expand clean fuel infrastructure and support transportation needs. No one works harder for the Lowcountry.”

An hour later, she referenced transparency issues involving an unnamed individual: “Mrs. Deleted Emails wants to lecture on transparency? We’ll believe it when we see it.” At 22:05 UTC, she added another comment related to document disclosures: “Dead men tell no tales, but their 3 million pages worth of files do.”

Nancy Mace has represented South Carolina’s 1st District in Congress since 2021 after succeeding Joe Cunningham. She previously served in the South Carolina House of Representatives from 2018 to 2020 and resides in Charleston. Born in Fort Bragg, North Carolina in 1977, Mace graduated from The Citadel with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1999.
