Rep. Nancy Mace, a U.S. Congresswoman representing South Carolina’s 1st district since 2021, shared several updates on her official X account on March 16, 2026.

In her first post of the day, Mace announced support for her legislation from a national law enforcement organization: “MACE WIN: The National Police Association has endorsed our bill, the Lawless Cities Accountability Act (H.R. 3920). ‘The Lawless Cities Accountability Act of 2025 will ensure that administrations failing to uphold the law will not be rewarded with our hard-earned tax dollars,'” she wrote at 14:40 UTC.

Later that afternoon, Mace expressed support for a White House official facing a health challenge. At 17:16 UTC, she posted: “We are keeping White House Chief of Staff Susie Wiles and her family in our prayers following her breast cancer diagnosis. May God watch over her and give her strength as she begins treatment in the days ahead.”

Her final post of the day referenced ongoing efforts related to high-profile criminal cases: “We have not forgotten the survivors of Jeffrey Epstein, and we will never stop working to get them the justice they deserve. Release the files. All of them this time.” This statement comes amid continued public interest in investigations connected to Jeffrey Epstein.

Mace began serving in Congress after defeating Joe Cunningham in 2021 and previously served in the South Carolina House of Representatives from 2018 to 2020. She was born in Fort Bragg, North Carolina in 1977 and currently resides in Charleston. In addition to her legislative work, Mace is an alumna of The Citadel, graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1999.
