Rep. Nancy Mace, a U.S. Congresswoman representing South Carolina’s 1st district, posted a series of tweets on September 10, 2025, addressing judicial accountability and expressing support for Charlie Kirk.

In her first post at 18:30 UTC, Mace criticized a judge’s decision regarding a repeat offender, stating, “This is the judge who let a 14-time repeat offender walk free to slaughter Iryna Zarutska. She has blood on her hands.”

Shortly after, at 18:45 UTC, she called for prayers for conservative activist Charlie Kirk: “PRAY FOR CHARLIE KIRK”.

Later that evening at 19:17 UTC, Mace expanded on her message of support with another tweet: “Stop and pray with us right now for Charlie Kirk. May the Lord surround him with protection, bring healing, and cover his wife, Erika, and their two young children with peace. ‘The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.’ Psalm 34:18”

Nancy Mace has represented South Carolina’s 1st congressional district since replacing Joe Cunningham in 2021. Before serving in Congress, she was a member of the South Carolina House of Representatives from 2018 to 2020. Born in Fort Bragg in 1977 and currently residing in Charleston, Mace graduated from The Citadel in 1999.
