U.S. Representative Nancy Mace, who represents South Carolina’s 1st district in Congress, posted a series of statements on her official X (formerly Twitter) account on September 11, 2025. The posts referenced faith, resilience, and recent events involving political commentator Charlie Kirk.

In her first post at 13:45 UTC, Mace wrote, “Evil will not prevail.”

Shortly after, at 14:34 UTC, she added another statement: “America’s strength lies not just in our freedom, but in our faith in God.”

Later that afternoon at 15:22 UTC, Mace addressed the previous day’s events and commented on the death of Charlie Kirk: “The Left owns what happened yesterday. Charlie Kirk was taken far too soon. https://t.co/ep67fIOk7n”

Nancy Mace has represented South Carolina’s 1st District since 2021 and previously served in the South Carolina House of Representatives from 2018 to 2020. She was born in Fort Bragg, North Carolina in 1977 and resides in Charleston. Mace is an alumna of The Citadel, graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1999.
