Nancy Mace, a U.S. Congress member representing South Carolina’s 1st district since 2021, has recently shared her thoughts on several significant topics through social media posts. Born in Fort Bragg, North Carolina, and currently residing in Charleston, Mace has been vocal about various issues.
On June 17, 2025, Mace highlighted concerns raised by General Kurilla, Commander of U.S. Central Command. “General Kurilla…warned us all last week: Iran is on the brink of being able to build TEN nuclear weapons,” she stated. Mace emphasized the stance of President Biden by quoting him: “@POTUS has made it clear from day one: under no circumstances can Iran be allowed to get nuclear weapons.”
The following day, on June 18, 2025, Mace posted a suggestion for her followers to engage with biblical stories. She advised them to “read the story of David and Goliath in the bible.”
Later that day, Mace commemorated a tragic event in Charleston’s history. On June 18, she remembered the anniversary of the Charleston Sofa Super Store fire. In her words: “Today we remember the anniversary of the Charleston Sofa Super Store fire…Their sacrifice will never be forgotten.” This incident claimed the lives of nine firefighters and is an important part of local history.
Nancy Mace holds a BS degree from The Citadel and has served in both state and national legislatures since her political career began.
