U.S. Representative Nancy Mace, who serves South Carolina’s 1st district, posted a series of tweets on February 19, 2026, addressing local emergency management and the arrest of a former prince in connection with the Epstein files.

In her first tweet at 13:00 UTC, Mace wrote, “Our office met with Cole Shirley, Berkeley County’s new Emergency Management Director.

We discussed his background in emergency management and explored ways for collaboration between our office and local emergency services to better serve Berkeley County.

Later that day at 14:09 UTC, she commented on recent developments involving a royal figure and the Epstein investigation. She stated, “If you’re watching a former prince get arrested today, remember: four Republicans refused to flinch, refused to fold, and forced the Epstein files into the light.

Courage has consequences. So does corruption.”

At 14:38 UTC on the same day, Mace followed up with another message: “If only someone had called for Prince Andrew’s arrest months ago…

Nancy Mace has represented South Carolina’s 1st congressional district since replacing Joe Cunningham in 2021. Before her tenure in Congress, she served in the South Carolina House of Representatives from 2018 to 2020. Born in Fort Bragg, North Carolina in 1977 and currently residing in Charleston, Mace graduated from The Citadel with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1999.
