U.S. Representative Nancy Mace, who serves South Carolina’s 1st district, posted a series of statements on her official social media account on February 25, 2026, addressing economic conditions in the United States.

In one post, Mace stated, “America is the HOTTEST country in the world.” (February 25, 2026).

Shortly after, she commented on mortgage rates and housing affordability: “Mortgage rates at their LOWEST in four years. This is how we solve the Biden created housing crisis and put the American Dream back within reach for hardworking Americans.” (February 25, 2026).

Mace also addressed inflation trends: “In the last 3 months of 2025, inflation was down to only 1.7%. Under Biden? Record highs.” (February 25, 2026).

Nancy Mace has represented South Carolina’s 1st congressional district since replacing Joe Cunningham in 2021. Before serving in Congress, she was a member of the South Carolina House of Representatives from 2018 to 2020. Born in Fort Bragg, North Carolina in 1977 and currently residing in Charleston, Mace graduated from The Citadel with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1999.
