Rep. Nancy Mace, a member of the U.S. Congress representing South Carolina’s 1st district, addressed several issues in a series of posts on April 13, 2026, including concerns about veterans’ care and allegations of misconduct among fellow lawmakers.

In her first post at 01:15 UTC, Mace highlighted ongoing challenges facing the Department of Veterans Affairs, stating: “There is still work to be done to make the VA the best it can be for our veterans. We need more accessible care, stronger systems, and updated treatment options.”

Later that day at 13:32 UTC, she raised concerns about conduct within Congress: “Congress has a predator problem. Eric Swalwell and Tony Gonzales have no business representing the American people. Neither does any member of Congress sexually harassing the staff working for them. They are betraying every constituent who sent them to Washington and every”.

At 15:01 UTC, Mace continued her criticism regarding California politics and Rep. Eric Swalwell: “California is corrupt enough. At least now they won’t have a sexual predator as their future governor. Next step: Swalwell should resign from Congress, and if he doesn’t, he should be expelled.”

Mace has served in Congress since 2021 after replacing Joe Cunningham as representative for South Carolina’s 1st district. She previously held office in the South Carolina House of Representatives from 2018 to 2020. Born in Fort Bragg, North Carolina in 1977, Mace resides in Charleston and graduated from The Citadel with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1999.
