U.S. Representative Nancy Mace, who serves South Carolina’s 1st district in Congress, published several posts on October 18, 2025, criticizing Democratic leadership and expressing support for President Trump’s administration.
In a post from the morning of October 18, Mace commented on Democratic leaders attending rallies, stating: “Nothing says ‘we care about democracy’ like showing up to a rally sponsored by communists. Chuck Schumer is desperately trying to appease the far Left crowd of his party to cling to his leadership role before AOC inevitably replaces him. Enough with the political theater,” she wrote at 11:00 a.m. UTC.
Later that afternoon, she reiterated her point with a similar message: “Nothing says ‘we care about democracy’ like showing up to a rally sponsored by communists.” (posted at 15:23 UTC).
Between those posts, Mace expressed gratitude towards former President Donald Trump regarding healthcare policy: “Thank you, President Trump, for fighting to make IVF treatments more affordable and accessible for women and families. This administration is DELIVERING for women.” (13:25 UTC).
Mace has represented South Carolina’s 1st district in the U.S. House of Representatives since replacing Joe Cunningham in 2021 and previously served in the state legislature from 2018 to 2020. Born in Fort Bragg in 1977 and currently residing in Charleston, she graduated from The Citadel with a bachelor’s degree in science in 1999.
