U.S. Representative Nancy Mace, who serves South Carolina’s 1st district in Congress, posted a series of statements on her official X account on September 19, 2025, criticizing Democratic lawmakers and commenting on military service representation.

In her first post at 15:13 UTC, Mace wrote, “58 Democrats just told America where they stand and it’s not with Charlie Kirk, freedom, or peace.” At 15:23 UTC the same day, she continued by listing the names of those Democrats and said, “History won’t forget. Neither should we. These 58 Democrats voted against condemning Charlie Kirk’s assassination: Amo Beatty Bell Bishop Brown Carson Carter (LA) Cherfilus-McCormick Clarke (NY) Cleaver Clyburn Crockett Davis (IL) Escobar Espaillat Fields Figures Foushee Frost”. Later at 15:36 UTC, Mace commented on military credentials by stating, “This is what a real ARMY RANGER looks like Cory Mills, not the ones pretending to be one. #StolenValor”.

Nancy Mace has been serving as a member of the U.S. House of Representatives since 2021 after replacing Joe Cunningham. She previously held office in the South Carolina House of Representatives from 2018 to 2020. Born in Fort Bragg, North Carolina in 1977 and currently residing in Charleston, Mace graduated from The Citadel in 1999 with a Bachelor of Science degree.
