U.S. Representative Nancy Mace, who represents South Carolina’s 1st district in Congress, posted a series of tweets on December 1, 2025, criticizing federal funding for certain cities, President Joe Biden’s immigration policies, and the state of Minnesota.

In her first post at 17:48 UTC, Mace stated: “We introduced legislation to cut off federal funding from cities enabling lawless behavior because American taxpayers should never be forced to subsidize chaos. President Trump is sending in the National Guard to do the job these cities refuse to do. You want federal money?”

Later that evening at 19:32 UTC, she wrote: “If you ever need another reason to question Joe Biden’s leadership as President of the United States of America, just know he welcomed unvetted terrorists from a country we spent nearly 20 years at war with, with open arms. The Democrats have always been America Last.”

In a subsequent tweet posted at 20:33 UTC on December 1, Mace commented on Minnesota’s status among U.S. states: “Minnesota is arguably the worst off state in the country. From Tampon Tim to Ilhan Omar…. Let’s just say we share President Trump’s sentiment. Regarded.”

Nancy Mace has represented South Carolina’s 1st Congressional District since replacing Joe Cunningham in 2021 and previously served in the South Carolina House of Representatives from 2018 to 2020. She was born in Fort Bragg, North Carolina in 1977 and currently resides in Charleston. Mace graduated from The Citadel with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1999.
