Rep. Nancy Mace, a U.S. Congresswoman representing South Carolina’s 1st district since 2021, posted several statements on her social media account on March 27, 2026, addressing issues ranging from election security to the justice system and federal worker pay.
In one post at 15:49 UTC, Mace criticized the Senate for not passing legislation she supports: “ICYMI: The Senate left for vacation without passing the SAVE America Act. While they’re relaxing at home, the integrity of American elections remains under threat. Their priorities lie with illegals and themselves, not the American people.”
Later that day at 16:20 UTC, she commented on ongoing concerns related to Jeffrey Epstein’s victims and the handling of their cases by authorities: “For years, our justice system has repeatedly failed the victims of Jeffrey Epstein. The delays, the redactions, the cover-ups. Enough is enough. These victims deserve answers.”
At 20:30 UTC on March 27th, Mace addressed issues facing Transportation Security Administration employees amid funding debates in Washington: “TSA agents show up every single day to keep American travelers safe. They don’t deserve to have their paychecks held hostage. We will stay in Washington as long as it takes to make sure ALL of DHS is funded and open.”
Mace has served in Congress since defeating Joe Cunningham in 2020 and previously represented her community in the South Carolina House of Representatives from 2018 to 2020. She was born in Fort Bragg in 1977 and currently resides in Charleston. Mace graduated from The Citadel with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1999.
