U.S. Representative Nancy Mace, who serves South Carolina’s 1st district, posted a series of statements on her official X account on October 15, 2025. The posts included commentary on recent political developments and the ongoing government funding situation.
In a post at 19:33 UTC, Mace wrote: “Roses are red. Violets are blue. Funny how justice Came looking for you.”
Later that evening, at 20:29 UTC, she criticized Senate Democrats with the statement: “‘America Last’ brought to you by Senate Democrats.”
At 20:58 UTC, Mace addressed the issue of military pay during a government shutdown, stating: ” Thanks to President Trump, $8B in unused defense funds are being used to cover mid-month paychecks. But this is a one-time fix. If Democrats don’t reopen the government by the end of the month, our troops will miss their next paycheck.”
Nancy Mace has represented South Carolina’s 1st District in Congress since 2021 and previously served in the South Carolina House of Representatives from 2018 to 2020. She succeeded Joe Cunningham as representative for the district.
