Rep. Nancy Mace, who represents South Carolina’s 1st district in the U.S. Congress, posted a series of tweets on March 23, 2026, criticizing Senator Lindsey Graham’s stance on potential military action in Iran and commenting on domestic issues related to airport disruptions.
In her first tweet at 14:00 UTC, Mace directly addressed Senator Graham: “Senator Graham, why don’t you deploy to Iran yourself if you’re so eager to send everyone else over there?”
Later that day at 16:00 UTC, she continued her criticism of Graham’s approach to foreign policy and military intervention: “American lives are not collateral damage for the price of oil. Boots on the ground is the LAST resort. Not a first response. Not a talking point. Lindsey Graham’s race to war and sacrificing South Carolina’s sons and daughters over oil has shown us everything we need to know.”
Addressing domestic concerns at 18:01 UTC, Mace commented on reported airport issues by attributing them to political disagreements over funding: “To everyone having issues at the airport right now: thank the Left for refusing to fund the Department of Homeland Secuirty.”
Nancy Mace has served in Congress since 2021 after previously holding office in the South Carolina House of Representatives from 2018 to 2020. She was born in Fort Bragg, North Carolina in 1977 and currently resides in Charleston. Mace graduated from The Citadel with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1999.
