U.S. Representative Nancy Mace, who serves South Carolina’s 1st district, posted a series of statements on September 20, 2025, addressing topics ranging from political commentary to economic development and military policy.
In her first post on September 20, Mace commented on the political discourse between public figures: “AOC could learn a few things from Charlie Kirk.”
Later that day, she shared insights from an event focused on technology and economic growth in South Carolina: “We spoke at the SC Chamber of Commerce’s Washington Night in Columbia about cybersecurity, VA modernization, and blockchain, and how these tools can drive South Carolina’s economy and create real opportunity.” This statement was made after participating in discussions at the South Carolina Chamber of Commerce’s Washington Night held in Columbia.
Addressing military standards in another post dated September 20, Mace stated: “DEI checkboxes won’t win wars. Our Restoring Merit in the Military Act puts skill, discipline, and merit back at the heart of our armed forces, because a top-tier military starts with real standards.”
Mace has represented South Carolina’s 1st District since 2021 after succeeding Joe Cunningham. She previously served in the South Carolina House of Representatives from 2018 to 2020. Born in Fort Bragg, North Carolina in 1977 and currently residing in Charleston at age 45, Mace graduated from The Citadel with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1999.
