U.S. Representative Nancy Mace, who serves South Carolina’s 1st district, posted a series of updates on September 9, 2025, addressing military service opportunities for students, transparency regarding unexplained aerial phenomena, and amendments to the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA).
In her first post at 14:15 UTC, Mace highlighted a collaborative event with other lawmakers: “Alongside the offices of @SenatorTimScott , @LindseyGrahamSC , and @RepJamesClyburn , we hosted the 2025 Lowcountry Service Academy Day. High school seniors from across the Lowcountry showed up with their families to explore the opportunities offered by our nation’s Service https://t.co/jTUv73HcOO”.
Later that day at 15:07 UTC, she commented on issues related to unidentified aerial phenomena and government transparency: “Let’s stop pretending this is just about unexplained objects or moving lights in the sky, it’s also about a deliberate effort to keep the public in the dark. @GOPoversight”.
At 15:12 UTC, Mace announced legislative progress regarding defense policy: “JUST IN: Five of our FY26 NDAA amendments are headed to the House Floor. We’re working to support our troops and keep the Left’s gender delusions far away from our armed forces. America First. https://t.co/A4srfSl3aW”.
Mace has represented South Carolina’s 1st District in Congress since replacing Joe Cunningham in 2021 and previously served in the South Carolina House of Representatives from 2018 to 2020. She was born in Fort Bragg, North Carolina in 1977 and currently resides in Charleston. In addition to her legislative work, Mace graduated from The Citadel with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1999.
