Rep. Nancy Mace, U.S. Congresswoman representing South Carolina’s 1st district since 2021, shared updates on her recent activities and policy positions through a series of posts on March 18, 2026.
In a morning post, Mace highlighted an event attended by her office at the MUSC Boeing Children’s Wellness Center: “When South Carolina innovates, the nation follows. Our office attended the MUSC Boeing Children’s Wellness Center event, where a landmark expansion was announced: MUSC’s School-Based Wellness Initiative. Built right here in South Carolina with new Boeing funding, the model is” (March 18, 2026).
Later that day, she addressed legislative priorities related to election security: “We’re still waiting on the SAVE America Act to be passed. Election integrity is the foundation of American democracy. Without secure elections, we have no democracy at all. If you are an American citizen, you can easily obtain an ID to vote. If you are not an American citizen,” (March 18, 2026).
In another post that afternoon, Mace discussed economic issues following meetings with trade leaders: “We met with leaders from the National Association of Foreign Trade Zones to discuss how trade supports South Carolina’s economy and manufacturing sector. Foreign Trade Zones help businesses reduce costs, streamline operations, and compete in the global marketplace. South” (March 18, 2026).
Mace has served in Congress since replacing Joe Cunningham in 2021 and previously held office in the South Carolina House of Representatives from 2018 to 2020. She was born in Fort Bragg in 1977 and resides in Charleston. Her educational background includes graduating from The Citadel with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1999.
