Rep. Nancy Mace, a U.S. Congresswoman representing South Carolina’s 1st district, shared updates on animal adoption efforts, internship opportunities, and recent developments regarding presidential pardons through her social media posts on November 1, 2025.
In her first post of the day, Mace introduced Lady as “District Dog,” highlighting an adoption initiative in partnership with the Charleston Animal Society. She wrote: “This week’s District Dog is Lady!
Lady is a sweet girl who loves cuddling on the couch and playing outside, whether it’s a walk or a game of fetch.
She’s looking for her forever home, and we’re teaming up with @charlestonanimalsociety to help make it happen.

She posted: “The @GOPOversight report confirms Biden’s chief of staff, Jeff Zients, authorized the autopen to sign presidential pardons… without even verifying with the President himself. https://t.co/JxFDlRMrAl” (posted November 1, 2025).
