U.S. Representative Nancy Mace, who serves South Carolina’s 1st district, highlighted her legislative efforts and bipartisan support in a series of posts on January 25 and 26, 2026.

In a post on January 25, Mace wrote, “In the first session of the 119th Congress, our work earned strong bipartisan support with 276 members cosponsoring our legislation, including 72% Republicans and 28% Democrats. No one works harder for South Carolina.”

Later that day, she shared details about new legislation aimed at protecting American industries from foreign competition. Mace stated, “MACE WIN: We introduced legislation to support and protect Americans from foreign competition taking over. Our bill has received national recognition from shrimpers and fishermen who need our help. ‘The New England Fishermen’s Stewardship Association stands firmly behind the”.

On January 26, Mace addressed concerns about state laws regarding sexual assault recordings. She posted, “In South Carolina, filming a sexual assault, even of a minor, is treated as a misdemeanor with a max $500 fine. Unacceptable. We committed to fixing these laws and holding predators accountable. HOLD THE LINE.”

Nancy Mace has represented South Carolina’s 1st District in Congress since 2021 after previously serving in the South Carolina House of Representatives from 2018 to 2020. Born in Fort Bragg in 1977 and now residing in Charleston, she graduated from The Citadel in 1999 with a Bachelor of Science degree.
