Rep. Nancy Mace, who represents South Carolina’s 1st district in the U.S. Congress, shared updates on local business support, humanitarian efforts, and legislative priorities through a series of posts on March 14, 2026.
In her first post at 11:00 a.m., Mace highlighted her office’s involvement with a local business event: “Our office celebrated the ribbon cutting for Mountain High Outfitters in Bluffton, their second location in South Carolina. Supporting local businesses in the Lowcountry is always a priority for our office. South Carolina STRONG.”
Later that day at 3:00 p.m., she emphasized her commitment to broader public service and referenced the work of Grey Bull Rescue: “We work for the American people, we will stop at nothing to help the American people, whether you are in South Carolina or thousands of miles away. Grey Bull Rescue has saved over 8,000 people, but we need funding, we need planes, and we need more leaders willing to step up to”
At 6:30 p.m., Mace addressed federal policy regarding gender identity on government forms: “There are two sexes: male and female. And yet, the federal government has been cluttering official forms and surveys with gender identity options rooted in ideology, not biology. We introduced the Restoring Biological Truth in Government Act so every executive agency,”
Nancy Mace has served as U.S. Representative since 2021 after previously serving in the South Carolina House of Representatives from 2018 to 2020. She was born in Fort Bragg, North Carolina in 1977 and currently resides in Charleston. Mace graduated from The Citadel with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1999.
