Rep. Nancy Mace, U.S. Congresswoman representing South Carolina’s 1st district since 2021, shared a series of updates on May 31, 2026, highlighting her recent efforts for education and national defense in her constituency.

In a post at 13:30 UTC, Mace announced support for local education initiatives: “Delivering results for South Carolina’s students. We helped secure the Stronger Connections Grant for Jasper County School District and Real Champions, Inc. This funding places Advocate Mentors in elementary schools across Jasper County, ensuring students have the consistency,” she wrote.

An hour later, at 14:30 UTC, Mace referenced faith and resilience in another post: “Psalm 28:7 ‘If it wasn’t for the struggles, you wouldn’t be as strong as you are today. God is always building you up, Even when it feels like He’s breaking you.’ Everything we endure, we endure with God on our side.”

By mid-afternoon at 15:30 UTC, Mace turned attention to military infrastructure improvements: “We secured major wins in the FY26 National Defense Authorization Act, putting the Lowcountry and our national security first. In the FY26 NDAA alone, we helped deliver more than $387.93 million in authorizations and extensions for critical infrastructure projects at Joint Base”.

Mace has represented South Carolina’s coastal district since defeating Joe Cunningham in 2021. She previously served in the South Carolina House of Representatives from 2018 to 2020 and holds a degree from The Citadel earned in 1999. Born in Fort Bragg in 1977 and now residing in Charleston, Mace continues to highlight both educational initiatives and federal investments benefiting her district.
