Rep. Nancy Mace, U.S. Congresswoman representing South Carolina’s 1st district since 2021, shared updates on legislative achievements and ongoing investigations in a series of posts on December 9, 2025.

In her first post at 21:00 UTC, Mace announced the results of her efforts in the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2026, stating: “19 MACE WINS in the final FY26 NDAA. $387+ MILLION in authorizations and extensions secured for Joint Base Charleston, MCAS Beaufort, and Parris Island. Stopped painful animal experiments Protected real women ENDED wasteful DEI programs No one will work harder for https://t.co/guLWSRPVVo”.

Later that evening at 22:30 UTC, she highlighted her office’s legislative productivity by posting: “Last week we filed our 60th bill of the year. We won’t be outworked! https://t.co/pKmGzyEZZw”.

At 22:34 UTC, Mace commented on documents received through a Freedom of Information Act request involving South Carolina Attorney General Alan Wilson. She wrote: “Wow. Just got FOIA documents back from Attorney General Alan Wilson. This is DEVASTATING. Wait until you see his ABYSMAL record prosecuting p^dophiles or in this case HE DOESN’T PROSECUTE P*DOPHILES. Stay tuned. This is really, extremely, gross, negligent, devastating.”

Mace has represented South Carolina’s coastal district since replacing Joe Cunningham in 2021 and previously served in the state House of Representatives from 2018 to 2020. Born in Fort Bragg, North Carolina in 1977 and currently residing in Charleston, she graduated from The Citadel with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1999.
