Later that evening at 22:30 UTC, she highlighted her office’s legislative productivity by posting: “Last week we filed our 60th bill of the year. We won’t be outworked! https://t.co/pKmGzyEZZw”.
At 22:34 UTC, Mace commented on documents received through a Freedom of Information Act request involving South Carolina Attorney General Alan Wilson. She wrote: “Wow. Just got FOIA documents back from Attorney General Alan Wilson. This is DEVASTATING. Wait until you see his ABYSMAL record prosecuting p^dophiles or in this case HE DOESN’T PROSECUTE P*DOPHILES. Stay tuned. This is really, extremely, gross, negligent, devastating.”
Mace has represented South Carolina’s coastal district since replacing Joe Cunningham in 2021 and previously served in the state House of Representatives from 2018 to 2020. Born in Fort Bragg, North Carolina in 1977 and currently residing in Charleston, she graduated from The Citadel with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1999.
