U.S. Representative Nancy Mace, who serves South Carolina’s 1st district, posted a series of updates on December 14, 2025, addressing topics ranging from legislative recognition to public safety and international incidents.
In her first post of the day, Mace announced an award she received for her legislative work: “MACE WIN: We were awarded the Legislator of the Year Award by Competitive Markets Groups because we refuse to let foreign interests and corporate giants crush America’s farmers. Our farmers work sunrise to sunset to feed this country, and for too long they’ve been undermined by https://t.co/YckzIwKpqm” (December 14, 2025).
Later that afternoon, Mace recognized local emergency medical services personnel: “Congratulations to Paramedic Courtney Lane with Beaufort County Emergency Medical Services for being recognized as the 2025 Harmony Lodge EMS Professional of the Year! The Lowcountry is safer because of dedicated first responders like you. Thank you for leading by example. https://t.co/K7WlLGh2z7” (December 14, 2025).
Addressing global concerns in a subsequent post on the same day, Mace commented on violence targeting Jewish communities abroad: “Initial reports show 12 lives were lost in a horrific, antisemitic attack in Australia last night. On the first night of Hanukkah—a night meant for light—Jewish families around the world are being forced into fear. Being Jewish must never carry a death sentence, anywhere,” (December 14, 2025).
Mace has represented South Carolina’s coastal district since replacing Joe Cunningham in Congress in 2021 and previously served in the state legislature from 2018 to 2020. Born in Fort Bragg in 1977 and currently residing in Charleston, she is also an alumna of The Citadel with a Bachelor of Science degree earned in 1999.
