Rep. Nancy Mace, who represents South Carolina’s 1st district in the U.S. Congress, recently highlighted her legislative achievements and priorities through a series of posts on her official social media account.

On April 3, 2026, Mace announced funding secured for military installations in her region: “MACE WIN: We’ve secured $944.8 MILLION in NDAA authorizations for Lowcountry military installations since coming to Congress. The Lowcountry is a leader when it comes to national defense and is home to one of the largest military populations in the country. South Carolina”.

In another post dated April 4, 2026, she addressed issues related to law enforcement and high-profile investigations: “We look forward to an Attorney General who restores law and order and holds rich and powerful predators accountable. The American people deserve results. No more two-tiered justice system. RELEASE THE EPSTEIN FILES.”

Later that day, Mace shared about her meeting with local conservation advocates: “We sat down with President Matthew Emmer from Coastal Refuges, a nonprofit doing incredible work advocating for refuges across the Savannah and South Carolina area, alongside the US Fish and Wildlife Service. There is no place like the Lowcountry, and there are people fighting”.

Mace has served as a member of Congress since 2021 after previously holding office in the South Carolina House of Representatives from 2018 to 2020. She was born in Fort Bragg, North Carolina in 1977 and currently resides in Charleston. Mace graduated from The Citadel in 1999 with a Bachelor of Science degree.
