U.S. Representative Nancy Mace, who represents South Carolina’s 1st district in Congress, posted a series of tweets on September 18 and 19, 2025, highlighting the role of South Carolinians in national security efforts and voicing support for former President Trump’s policies.

In a tweet dated September 18, Mace stated: “We personally thanked the men and women of the South Carolina National Guard serving here in D.C. as part of President Trump’s mission to fight crime and Make America Safe Again. They’re doing an incredible job. South Carolinians are leading the way. https://t.co/IAldaqrMCB”.

Later that evening, she posted another tweet containing only a link: “https://t.co/KfngvtfPj1” (September 18).

On September 19, Mace tweeted: “America First Mr. President, not Somalia first! https://t.co/vr8ebSt2sH”.

Nancy Mace has served in Congress since replacing Joe Cunningham in 2021 and previously held office in the South Carolina House of Representatives from 2018 to 2020. Born in Fort Bragg, North Carolina in 1977, she currently resides in Charleston and graduated from The Citadel with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1999.
