Rep. Nancy Mace, who represents South Carolina’s 1st district in the U.S. Congress, posted several updates on her official social media account on September 9, 2025, highlighting legislative actions and expressing opinions on ongoing debates.

On September 9, Rep. Mace announced the passage of an amendment related to seafood procurement for the Department of War (DoW). She wrote: “UPDATE: our amendment to strengthen @DeptofWar Buy America requirements for seafood just PASSED on the floor. South Carolina shrimpers & fishermen deserve a fair shake. No more foreign fish on DoW’s dime. “ (posted at 20:27 UTC).

Shortly after, she shared another update regarding a proposed amendment to the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA), stating: “NDAA Amendment #25 for debate on the House Floor: Protects women’s sports at our U.S. Service Academies. No biological males competing against our daughters in uniform. HOLD THE LINE.” (posted at 20:38 UTC).

Later that evening, Rep. Mace commented on public responses surrounding Iryna Zerutska, writing: “Watch who is silent on Iryna Zerutska. The same people who claim to stand against crime have nothing to say now. When people show you who they are, believe them.” (posted at 21:31 UTC).
