Rep. Nancy Mace, U.S. Congresswoman representing South Carolina’s 1st district, posted a series of tweets on August 7 and 8, 2025, addressing military service, support for former President Donald Trump, and economic development in her state.
On August 7, Mace paid tribute to military service members and her father’s sacrifice by stating: “Today we remember our heroes. Dad earned the Purple Heart fighting for our country. His sacrifice reminds us freedom isn’t free. We thank God for him and all who serve.”
Later that day, she expressed support for former President Trump’s stance on law enforcement and immigration policy: “President Trump stands for law, order, and the American people. If you protect illegal criminals, your time is up. We’re taking our country back. “
On August 8, Mace highlighted an economic development initiative in Berkeley County: “$50 million invested and 100 new SC jobs right here in Berkeley County. President Trump delivers: for America, for South Carolina, and for the Lowcountry. We can’t wait to see what this brings for Century Aluminum, and our office is ready to continue our ongoing support…”
