U.S. Representative Nancy Mace, who serves South Carolina’s 1st district, posted a series of updates on December 6, 2025, covering local appointments, legislative frustrations in Congress, and internship opportunities for constituents.
In her first post at 14:41 UTC, Mace congratulated a local official: “Congratulations to Cole Shirley on becoming Berkeley County’s Emergency Management Director.
His crisis-response experience and commitment to public safety will be a major asset to the Lowcountry.
Thank you for putting the LOWCOUNTRY FIRST, sir!”
Shortly after, at 14:45 UTC, she addressed her followers with an update from Washington: “WEEKLY LEGISLATIVE UPDATE FROM WASHINGTON
It was a frustrating week in the House, and I won’t sugarcoat it.
There is growing dissatisfaction among members with the ineffectiveness of the House. Aside from the One Big Beautiful Bill, we have relatively little to show for a full”
Later that day at 19:30 UTC, Mace announced opportunities for students and young professionals in her district: “Attention Charleston and Beaufort:
Our office is now accepting applications for spring district internships. If you’re seeking meaningful hands-on experience in constituent services, we encourage you to apply.
Apply now and join us this spring.
