U.S. Representative Nancy Mace, who serves South Carolina’s 1st congressional district, posted a series of tweets on September 11, 2025, addressing issues ranging from national turning points to concerns about local schools and media coverage.
In her first post at 16:12 UTC, Mace wrote, “This is America’s Turning Point.”
Shortly after, at 16:20 UTC, she addressed Greenville County Schools directly: “Greenville County Schools, we believe you may have some explaining to do. No one celebrating the loss of a human life should be allowed anywhere near children. @gcschools”
At 16:24 UTC the same day, Mace referenced media reporting with a pointed message to The New York Times: “Charlie Kirk, Right-Wing Force and a Close Trump Ally, MURDERED at 31. There, we fixed it for you. @nytimes”
Nancy Mace has represented South Carolina’s 1st District in Congress since 2021 after previously serving in the South Carolina House of Representatives from 2018 to 2020. She was born in Fort Bragg, North Carolina in 1977 and currently resides in Charleston. In addition to her political career, she graduated from The Citadel with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1999.
