U.S. Representative Nancy Mace, who represents South Carolina’s 1st district in Congress, posted a series of comments on her official X account on September 19, 2025. The posts ranged from commentary on political figures to highlighting the achievements of a local educator.

In one post at 18:49 UTC, Mace wrote, “Is anyone in the least bit surprised? Those hormones make them crazy.”

Later that evening at 19:33 UTC, she addressed fellow Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (AOC), stating, “AOC: Charlie Kirk was ‘ignorant.’ This from a Congresswoman who was fined for Met Gala freebies, called detention facilities a ‘concentration camp,’ and built her brand on defunding the police. Rock bottom is a luxury AOC can’t even reach.”

At 20:00 UTC, Mace shifted focus to education by posting about a local teacher: “Happy Feel Good Friday! Ike Bullard from Gregg Middle School in Dorchester County is back for another year of teaching at 81 years old. He considers teaching and working with young people his calling. He has taught generations and over 40,000 students in his career. Dorchester”

Mace has represented South Carolina’s 1st congressional district since replacing Joe Cunningham in 2021 and previously served in the South Carolina House of Representatives from 2018 to 2020. Born in Fort Bragg, North Carolina in 1977 and currently residing in Charleston, she graduated from The Citadel with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1999.
