Rep. Nancy Mace, a U.S. Congresswoman representing South Carolina’s 1st district, posted a series of statements on her Twitter account praising President Trump’s recent actions and voicing support for American fishermen.
On January 3, 2026, Mace wrote: “President Trump took bold and decisive action today. His brilliant decision to have the brave members of our War department execute a dramatic operation to seize international narco terrorist Nicholas Maduro has made America safer and stronger than ever.”
Later that day, she added another message: “Viva Donald Trump, Viva Venezuela!” (January 4, 2026).
In a separate post on January 4, 2026, Mace shifted focus to local economic issues: “Protecting American shrimpers and fishermen is protecting the Lowcountry way of life and our costal communities. Stop filling the pockets of foreign fishermen over our own. American caught. America First.”
Mace has represented South Carolina’s coastal district in Congress since 2021 after replacing Joe Cunningham. She previously served in the South Carolina House of Representatives from 2018 to 2020 and is an alumna of The Citadel with a Bachelor of Science degree earned in 1999. Born in Fort Bragg, North Carolina in 1977, she currently resides in Charleston.
