U.S. Representative Nancy Mace, who represents South Carolina’s 1st district in Congress, posted a series of statements on social media questioning the lack of arrests connected to the Jeffrey Epstein case and announced plans to review related Department of Justice files.

On February 10, 2026, Mace wrote, “Why aren’t the people tied to Jeffrey Epstein in jail? Who is covering for them? If you participated, enabled, or helped cover up these crimes, you belong behind bars. No one is above the law. No exceptions.”

Later that day, she added another post stating, “So in 3 MILLION pages of documents, there’s not a single predator who has been arrested yet? With over 1,000 victims, there’s no way there was only one accomplice. Everyone involved needs to be held to the fullest extent of the law, AND so do the people who covered it up.”

By the morning of February 10th, Mace informed her followers about her next steps: “I am headed to the DOJ today to review the unredacted Epstein files. I will have a lot more to say after. Standby.”

Mace has represented South Carolina’s 1st congressional district since 2021 after succeeding Joe Cunningham. She previously served in the South Carolina House of Representatives from 2018 to 2020 and holds a Bachelor of Science degree from The Citadel (Fact 1; Fact 2; Fact 4). Born in Fort Bragg, North Carolina in 1977 and currently residing in Charleston, Mace is among several public officials calling for further accountability regarding individuals associated with Jeffrey Epstein (Fact 3).
