Rep. Nancy Mace, who represents South Carolina’s 1st district in the U.S. Congress, reiterated her support for gun rights and economic initiatives in a series of posts on February 3, 2026.

In one post, Mace stated, “I want to be very CLEAR: I support the Second Amendment.” (February 3, 2026). She followed up shortly after with another message emphasizing individual rights: “And every individual’s right to carry.” (February 3, 2026).

Later that evening, Mace commented on an economic proposal: “Trump Accounts give every American child a stake in our economy from day one. This is how we build wealth for working families. https://t.co/Ci5FjopcRP” (February 3, 2026).

Mace has served as the representative for South Carolina’s 1st congressional district since replacing Joe Cunningham in 2021. Before her tenure in Congress, she was a member of the South Carolina House of Representatives from 2018 to 2020. Born in Fort Bragg, North Carolina in 1977 and currently residing in Charleston at age 45, Mace graduated from The Citadel with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1999.
