U.S. Representative Nancy Mace, who serves South Carolina’s 1st district in Congress, shared a series of updates on her official Twitter account this week, including alerts about an impending winter storm and recognition for local first responders.

On January 21, 2026, Mace posted an alert regarding the weather situation in South Carolina: “Governor McMaster has declared a State of Emergency for South Carolina ahead of this weekend’s winter storm.

Ice, freezing rain, hazardous road conditions and potential power outages are expected.

Be sure to monitor our local emergency management personnel alerts and https://t.co/mOiYmFXw6k“.

Later that evening, she tweeted a brief message referencing the well-known book by former President Donald Trump: “The Art of the Deal. https://t.co/ZSZGNPYMMN” (January 21, 2026).

On January 22, Mace highlighted support for first responders in her district: “Our firefighters and first responders answer the call without hesitation, we must do the same. This weekend, we attended a charity hockey game in Florence which raised critical funds for life-saving cancer screenings for Myrtle Beach’s firefighters. It’s our duty to protect those https://t.co/Gtr4x2XRqv”.
